LAUDATE is a classical style chamber choir based in Cornwall. Singers are drawn from all areas of  the county. The choir sings mainly church music in a mixture of concerts and services in Cornwall and beyond, including occasional Cathedral visits.

Music performed is drawn from the English Cathedral repertoire including Byrd, Tallis, Howells, Stanford, Wesley and Wood to name but a few composers. In 2014 and 2016, the choir visited France where it performed in the Basilique St Anne d'Auray, the Eglise Abbatiale at St Gildas de Rhuys, the Basilica Notre-Dame du Roncier in Josselin and the Cathedral in Vannes.

Prospective candidates for membership of Laudate must have a reasonable standard of sight reading and be willing to learn new music quickly.

Laudate rehearses monthly by arrangement.
